Jennifer Brookshire scored two goals and Jaucelyn Richter and Jackie Hill each had two assists to lead Montana State Billings to a 6-1 road victory at Northwest Nazarene Saturday.
The Yellowjackets (8-1-2, 5-0-2) stayed unbeaten in conference games with the win building a 3-0 halftime lead on an own goal and goals by Brookshire and Heidi Greenback.
MSUB added three second half goals by Brookshire, Jennifer Larsen and Jennifer Johnson before NNU got a 87th minute goal by Erika Kristensen to break up the shutout.
MSUB took just eight shots in scoring its five individual goals, just one more than NNU (4-7-2, 2-5-0) launched. Yellowjacket goalie Danielle Gordon had four saves.
Western Oregon (4-5-2, 3-3-1)got an unassisted goal by Lindsay Bauman in the 71st minute to snap a 1-1 tie in a 2-1 road win at Saint Martin's (1-8-2, 1-6-0).
Cassandra Olson scored in the final second of the first half to give the Wolves a 1-0 lead at the break. Saint Martin's pulled even at 62:08 as Ashley Richardson headed in a cross from Sasha Dini.
The Wolves doubled the Saints' shot total (14-7) and its corner kick numbers (4-2). Save-wise, Brittney Rigtrup stopped two shots for the Wolves. Ashley Engel had six for SMU.
