Directions to Ford Idaho Center 

PORTLAND, Ore. – The 2014 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Northwest Nazarene University are slated for Feb. 21-22 in Nampa, Idaho, in the Ford Sports Complex at the Ford Idaho Center.

Fans may purchase tickets in advance for the event online through Eventbrite.com.  Tickets purchased online are $8 for adults and $5 for students or seniors.  Children under 12 are admitted free.

Tickets purchased at the event are $9 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.

The two-day event featuring some of the top collegiate track and field athletes in the Pacific Northwest will be held at the Jacksons Indoor Track. 

The championship meet begins Friday morning at 9 a.m. with the first event (60 dash) of the men's heptathlon.  The women's pentathlon begins at 9:15 a.m. with the 60 hurdles.

The remainder of the meet begins Friday at 2:30 p.m. with preliminaries in the men's 60 hurdles. 

The first final event - the women's weight throw - starts at 3:30 p.m.  Other Friday field event finals will include the women's long jump, women's pole vault, men's high jump, men's long jump and men's shot put.

Finals will also be held Friday in the men's and women's 5,000 meters and in the men's and women's distance medley relay.  In addition to the men's and women's 60 hurdles, prelims will also be held Friday in the men's and women's 200, 400 and 800.

Action on Saturday starts with the final three events of the men's heptathlon at 8:45 a.m.

The field events start at 10 a.m. with the finals of the men's weight throw and women's high jump.  The opening ceremonies are slated for 11 a.m.
