GNAC Reprimands CWU Women's Basketball Coach

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference has reprimanded Central Washington University women’s basketball coach Shawn Nelson for his conduct during the second half of last Thursday’s game at the University of Alaska Anchorage, Commissioner Dave Haglund has announced. 

Haglund said the reprimand was for unsportsmanlike conduct including provocative language and actions.

“Coach Nelson has been advised that behavior such as this is a violation of GNAC bylaws and will not be tolerated by the conference,” Haglund added.
