PORTLAND, Ore. – Senior Megan Billeter from Western Washington, a four-time All-GNAC selection, leads four GNAC student-athletes named All-America Scholars by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association.

A Second Team All-GNAC selection in 2023, Billeter was joined in receiving the honor by three Montana State Billings golfers: Freshman Haylee Adams, sophomore Meilyn Armstrong and junior Brennan Larson. The quartet was among 1,397 collegiate golfers from 378 collegiate programs honored for academic achievement.

To qualify to be named a WGCA All-America Scholar, student-athletes must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team’s roster through the conclusion of the team’s season and have played in 50% of the college’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team’s conference championship.

Playing in nine tournaments this season, Billeter finished 10th among GNAC women’s golfers with a 78.7 stroke average in 18 rounds. She had two top-10 finishes on the season, which included a win at the SMU Bishop Invitational in September. The victory also yielded Billeter’s lowest round of the season at 70. In May, Billeter was also named to the College Sports Communicators Division II Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Team.

Adams finished with an 84.4 stroke average in her first season with MSUB, playing in nine tournaments. Her best performance of the season came at home in the Yellowjacket Fall Invite on Oct. 3 and 4, tying for 10th while carding her lowest individual round of the season with a 78.

Armstrong played in five tournaments this season, finishing the year with an 85.7 stroke average. Her best individual finish was a tie for 15th place at September’s Hardrocker Fall Invite. Her low round of the season, a 77, came at the SMU Bishop Invitational in September.

Larson compiled an 86.9 stroke average while playing in nine tournaments this season. She tied for fifth place at the Yellowjacket Fall Invite, which yielded her lowest individual round of the season of 81.
