PORTLAND, Ore. – The stage is set for another busy week of track and field action as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference programs get set to compete in four different time zones.

The two biggest meets of the weekend are the Stanford Invitational and the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, which the GNAC will have representation at on Friday and Saturday in California. Central Washington is headed to the prestigious Texas Relays in Austin, Texas, and will also send athletes to the Texas State Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos, Texas.

Simon Fraser is among the GNAC’s teams competing in the two California meets, while All-American Marie-Eloise Leclair is headed to Gainesville, Fla., to compete at the Florida Relays. Alaska Anchorage, Seattle Pacific, Western Oregon and Western Washington will join the Red Leafs at the two California meets, and the Wolves are also scheduled to send athletes to the Pacific Open close to home in Forest Grove, Ore., on Saturday.

Montana State Billings will also be in action this weekend, hosting its first of two outdoor meets with the Yellowjacket/Battlin’ Bear Open running Thursday-Friday just outside the Magic City in Lockwood, Mont.

2024 GNAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships
 

The 2024 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held May 10-11 at the Recreation Sports Complex on the campus of Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Wash. The event will be preceded by the GNAC Combined Event Championships, which will take place April 29-30 at Civic Stadium in Bellingham, Wash. All nine GNAC track and field programs are eligible to compete in both the combined event championship and the outdoor championship.
