KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Seattle Pacific senior Jobi Wall was selected to play in the 2013 Reese’s Division II College All-Star men’s basketball game conducted by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

The All-Star game will be played Friday at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time in conjunction with the NCAA Division II Elite Eight at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Ky. Teams representing the East and West are composed of two senior student-athletes from each of the eight regions along with four at-large selections.

Wall (Arvada, Colo.) and Mitchel Anderson of Cal Poly Pomona are the two selections from the West Region. Wall scored 17 points, including five treys, in the Falcons 67-54 victory over Pomona in the West Region semifinals on Mar. 18.

He led SPU in 2012-13 with 14.3 points per game. Wall topped all Great Northwest Athletic Conference players with 91 treys while registering the league’s best 3-point accuracy at 48.9 percent (91 of 186).

The 6-foot-6 forward completed his two-year SPU career on Mar. 19 with a 62-58 loss at Western Washington in the West Regional championship game. He helped the Falcons to a 27-4 record, tying the school record for single-season victories while establishing the best winning percentage (87.1%) in the 70-year history of the program.

Wall’s last-second, 28-foot 3-pointer lifted SPU to a 72-70 win over second-ranked WWU in the championship game of the GNAC Tournament on Mar. 9 in Lacey, Wash.

The all-star game will be conducted between the quarterfinal and seminal rounds of the Division II Tournament. The quarterfinals are set for Thursday and the semifinals on Saturday at Freedom Hall.

The Reese’s All-Star game will feature a pair of outstanding former coaches from Division II schools. Former University of Central Oklahoma coach Jim Seward will lead the West team, while former Southern Connecticut State University coach Art Leary will direct the East team.

Wall is the seventh GNAC player to be selected for the all-star game joining SPU's Dustin Bremerman (2007), Ira Graham of Western Washington and Jake Linton of Saint Martin's (2009), Parrish West of Alaska Fairbanks and Blake Poole of Saint Martin's (2011) and Taylor Rohde of Alaska Anchorage (2012).
