WOU's Kasler Wins Clackamas Meet

Western Oregon junior Connor Kasler led a 1-2-3-4 sweep as the Wolves won the men's division of the Clackamas Invitational Friday at Oregon City.

Kasler covered the 6,150 meter course in a time of 19:46.31. WOU's Kyle Larson finished second a time of 20:04.54.

Lukas Fenley and Dan Sprinkle ended up third and fourth, respectively, in times of 20:04.79 and 20:05.85.

“The guys had a dominant performance today,” said WOU head coach Mike Johnson. “They asserted themselves and ran with confidence.”

The WOU women's team placed three athletes in the top nine as Janelle Everetts finished third on the 4100 meter course in a time of 15:46.22.
