PORTLAND, Ore. – Nine players with perfect 4.00 grade point averages led 112 total selections to the 2023 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer All-Academic Team, presented by Barnes & Noble College. 

The Vikings lead all GNAC programs with a trio of 4.00 honorees in junior Kascia Muscutt and sophomores Morgan Manalili and Claire Potter. Central Washington and Montana State Billings each have two 4.00 honorees. The Wildcats are represented by senior Grace Jackson and sophomore Madilyn Haack while the Yellowjackets’ all-academic selections are highlighted by junior Vivien Guese and sophomore Lauren Becraft. Saint Martin’s sophomore Sierra Nees and Seattle Pacific sophomore Maya Parman round out the 4.00 selections.

Among the 112 total honorees, more than half are repeat selections with 23 second-year, 25 third-year and eight fourth-year honorees. The eight four-year selections almost double the number of four-time honorees in GNAC history. Western Oregon leads the way with 20 all-academic selections followed by Central Washington with 18 and Western Washington with 17.

To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in their second season competing for their team and must have competed on the field during the 2023 season.
