AUSTIN, Texas – After capping off his Western Oregon career with a First Team All-GNAC selection, Western Oregon senior offensive lineman Jakob Pruitt is the conference’s lone selection to the College Sports Information Directors of America’s (CoSIDA) Division II Academic All-Super Region 4 Football Team.

One of 28 total selections to the team and one of six offensive linemen, Pruitt has a 3.85 GPA as a criminal justice major. A four-time GNAC All-Academic Team selection, Pruitt is one of 14 honorees with a 3.85 GPA or greater.

Pruitt is the first GNAC football player to earn Academic All-District since 2018. That year, Western Oregon’s Caleb Tingstad and Azusa Pacific’s Jonah Wataru were named to the squad.

With his to the Academic All-District Team, Pruitt is eligible for consideration for the CoSIDA Division II Academic All-America Team, which will be announced on Friday, December 17.
