Western Oregon capped off its most successful conference campaign since 2003 Sunday edging Saint Martin's 1-0 on a first-half goal by Katrina Kem.

Lindsay Bauman set up Kem's score at 39:28 as WOU finished its conference slate with a 5-6-3 record, its best mark since going 8-3-1 in 2003.

WOU (6-8-4 overall) outshot Saint Martin's (4-12-2, 4-10-0) by a 13-7 count. Britney Rigtrup made three saves in recording her sixth shutout of the season and lowering her goals against average to 1.21.
