PORTLAND, Ore. – After earning Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors, Montana State Billings senior Bobbi Knudsen was named to two All-America teams and was one of three players from the conference to earn the honor.

Joining Knudsen as Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Association honorable mention selections were Seattle Pacific senior Katie Benson and Simon Fraser Junior Erin Chambers. Knudsen was the lone player from the GNAC to appear on the Daktronics All-America team as well, earning a spot on the third-team.

Knudsen led her team in scoring with 17.2 points per game and was among national leaders in assists with 5.2 per contest.

Chambers joined Knudsen earlier this year as a Daktronics first-team All-West Region honoree, after leading the GNAC in points per game with 23.1.

Benson ranked second in the GNAC in scoring (19.3) and rebounding (9.1) during her senior campaign and was a Daktronics second-team All-West Region pick.

Tarleton State senior Kiara Wright was named the Daktronics National Player of the Year, while Lauren Battista (Bentley), Jada Blackwell (Cal Poly Pomona) and Sharaya Selsor (Colorado Mesa) were among finalists for the WBCA Player of the Year honor.
