A SHOWDOWN AWAITS BETWEEN SEAWOLVES, VIKINGS: With two weeks remaining in the regular season, there is no bigger match than the one that will take place in Bellingham on Thursday.

The top two teams in the conference, Western Washington and Alaska Anchorage, will meet in a match that will put the conference’s top-two offenses against each other. In addition, the Vikings will be looking to secure at least a share of the program’s third consecutive conference title.

Western Washington enters the week leading the conference in hitting percentage (.275), kills per set (13.98) and assists per set (13.20) and leads Division II nationally with 2.87 blocks per set. Alaska Anchorage is second to the Vikings in both hitting percentage (.233) and blocks per set (2.51).  The Seawolves also lead the conference and rank sixth in Division II with 2.22 aces per set.
