GNAC Insider is a regular audio podcast featuring the latest news on the student-athletes, coaches and events of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Produced by the conference office in association with www.soundbrook.com, the podcast is available through the conference web site, gnacsports.com, and as a free subscription through iTunes.

• Simon Fraser women's basketball is off to a fast start this season, and will take a No. 7 ranking into a Saturday road game at No. 11 Western Washington. SFU coach Bruce Langford and star center Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe talk about the Clan's success.

• Saint Martin's men's and women's basketball are coming off a big week, and had two student-athletes earn Red Lion Player of the Week honors following home victories. Hear from Chelsea Haskey and Roger O'Neill.

• The surprise team in men's basketball in the GNAC is easily University of Alaska Fairbanks under second-year head coach Mick Durham. The Nanooks have won four straight and are 3-1 in conference play following their first road sweep in six years. Guard Pat Voeut is playing a key role in the resurgence of the Nanooks, and talks about the upswing in the program.

• Finally, the GNAC will benefit from some regional television exposure on ROOT Sports Thursday night as No. 5 Western Washington hosts in-state rival Central Washington in men's basketball. The telecast begins at 9 p.m. PT. Hear from WWU guard John Allen on the Vikings, who have won 18 straight dating back to last year's national championship season.

Each GNAC Insider includes a roundup of conference activities and events, as well as interviews with conference newsmakers. You can listen to GNAC Insider by navigating to http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/gnac.portal and following these steps:

1. Find Event

After navigating to the above link, select the green "ON DEMAND" tab and identify the GNAC Insider you wish to listen to from the list located on the right side of the page. The list is sorted by date, with recent GNAC Insider podcasts located at the top.

2. Click to Listen

Once you choose a GNAC Insider, click the "LISTEN" link, located to the right of the GNAC Insider description. The GNAC Insider podcast will begin streaming within a few seconds.
