Championship Information

Dates: The 2013 GNAC Men’s Basketball Championships will be held March 7-9. The top six teams in the final GNAC regular season standings will advance to the single-elimination tournament. The winner of the GNAC tournament will earn the conference’s automatic berth in the NCAA championships.

Tickets at the Door: Tournament reserved ($55); tournament GA ($40); tournament session general admission ($10); reserved session ($15); student tournament general admission ($20); student session general admission ($6); senior tournament general admission ($20); senior session general admission ($6).

Site: All games will be held at Marcus Pavilion (4,300) on the campus of Saint Martin’s University. The tournament will be held in conjunction with the 2013 GNAC Women’s Basketball Championships.

Parking: Free parking is available in the parking lots surrounding Marcus Pavilion.

Bench Assignments: The higher seeded team will be designated the home team and wear light-colored uniforms. The home team will sit on the bench to the left of the scorer’s table (facing the court).

Awards Ceremony: At the conclusion of Saturday’s championship game, a trophy presentation to the winning team and recognition of the tournament MVP will take place at midcourt.
