Farrand Resigns As CWU Women's Soccer Coach

ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Central Washington University head women's soccer coach Michael Farrand has resigned from his position, effective immediately.
 
Farrand was in his 22nd season with the Wildcats. In 2016, he led Central to an NCAA West Regional Championships appearance.
 
"We appreciate Coach Farrand's efforts during his tenure with the women's soccer program at Central," Director of Athletics Dennis Francois said. "We wish him the very best in his future endeavors."
 
Assistant coach Emmy Koflanovich will take over the day-to-day operations of the CWU soccer program.
 
CWU will begin a national search for its next women's soccer head coach immediately.
