GNAC Women's Rowing Championships Information

The 2023 GNAC Women's Rowing Championships will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Dexter Lake located approximately 13 miles east of Eugene, Oregon on Hwy. 58. This year's championship is being held in conjunction with the Pac-12 Conference.

Spectator Driving Directions & Parking: Here are the driving/parking/shuttle directions to the GNAC Women's Rowing Championships:

  • From I-5, take Hwy. 58 eastbound (exit 188A), 13 miles to Dexter Lake
  • Turn left at the white-covered bridge, to Lowell
  • Spectators are encouraged to park at Lowell High School ($5 per vehicle) and take the complimentary shuttle to the Lowell State Recreation Site (otherwise a 10-minute walk from town to the recreation site entrance). Lowell High School is located at 65 Pioneer Street and will be on your left as you enter the town. 

Admission: There is no admission to the GNAC Women's Rowing Championships. The recreation site includes a permanent public restroom facility.

Awards Ceremony: At approximately noon, the GNAC will conduct its post-championship awards ceremony, including recognition of the overall 2023 GNAC champion, the winning entries in the Varsity 4+ and Varsity 8+ races and the members of the all-conference team. The awards ceremony is slated to take place on the stage located in close proximity to the boat dock.

Scoring
Teams will be scored based on placing in the varsity 4+ and varsity 8+ race as follows:

Ties will be broken by the place finish in the varsity 8+ race.

Note: A team must compete in both the varsity 4+ and varsity 8+ races to qualify to win the overall championship.
