LEXINGTON, Ky. – The conference’s Newcomer of the Year and Pitcher of the Year can now add All-American to their resumes.

Western Washington junior shortstop Tatum Dow and Northwest Nazarene freshman pitcher/first baseman Sidney Booth have been named All-Americans by both the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and Division II Collegiate Commissioners Association (D2CCA).

Dow received Second Team NFCA All-American honors and was named an honorable mention by the D2CCA. Booth also earned Second Team NFCA All-American accolades and was named to the D2CCA third team.

The duo leads five GNAC players to make the D2CCA All-America list. Northwest Nazarene sophomore outfielder Maia McNicoll was named to the third team. Nighthawks senior catcher Brittany Genuardi and Central Washington senior outfielder Theresa Moyle were named honorable mentions.

Dow, selected by coaches as the GNAC Newcomer of the Year, led the conference with a .417 batting average while compiling a .635 slugging percentage and a .417 on-base percentage. She finished tied for second in the GNC with 48 hits, eighth with 26 RBI and tied for ninth with six home runs. Dow finished the season with 14 multi-hit games and six games with three hits.

Booth, who was named the GNAC Pitcher of the Year, ended the season with a 16-4 record and led the conference with a 1.80 earned run average. In 140 innings, Booth allowed 42 runs, 36 earned, and struck out a GNAC-leading 176 batters that ranked her 17th in Division II. Booth also ranked 24th in Division II with a WHIP of 0.91. At the plate, Booth finished eighth in the GNAC with a .364 batting average while leading the conference with 41 RBI. She also ranked fourth with nine home runs and fifth with 47 hits.

McNicoll finished the season ranked seventh in the GNAC with a .369 batting average. She led the conference and finished ranked 29th in Division II with 12 home runs and finished tied for second in the conference with 48 hits and 36 RBI.

Genuardi, the 2021 GNAC Player of the Year, ended the season ranked second in the GNAC with a .390 batting average and led the conference with a .536 on-base percentage, which also ranked 25th in Division II. She also ranked fifth among GNAC players with 33 RBI and was tied for second with 12 doubles.

Moyle finished the season ranked third in the GNAC with a .385 batting average and was second with a .706 slugging percentage. She finished ranked seventh in Division II with six triples and 13th with 0.18 triples per game.
