ROHNERT PARK, Calif. –Simon Fraser’s Aidan Goodfellow and Western Washington’s Jordan Lee are no strangers to ranking among the top golfers at tournaments, and that holds true at the end of the second day of the NCAA West/South Central Super Regional which sees Goodfellow and Lee tied for second to lead all conference golfers.

Goodfellow leaped up 12 places in the standings with a second-round score of 4-under-par 68 to lead all GNAC golfers for the day. His score in today’s round has been matched only by tournament leader Griffin Pace of Sonoma State. Along with Lee, Goodfellow carded a two-round score of 2-under-par 140.

Goodfellow’s effort sees the Red Leafs fourth in the team standings with a score of 6-over-par 582 with just one round remaining. They are just two strokes behind second-place West Texas A&M and Oklahoma Christian.

Along with Goodfellow, Simon Fraser junior Michael Crisologo is tied for 33rd while sophomore Bailey Bjornson and senior Jordan Bean are tied for 44th and 64th, respectively. Crisologo shot a 74 in the second round while Bjornson shot a 75 and Bean finished the day with an 80.

Lee’s performance for Western Washington sees the Vikings just one stroke behind Simon Fraser in fifth with a two-round score of 7-over-par 582. Lee shot the lowest round of WWU’s day with a 69 at the Foxtail Golf Club. Junior Drew Halili followed Lee for the day with a score of 71 while Seth King carded a 72 and Conrad Brown finished day two with a 76.

Overall, King is tied for eighth in the individual standings with a two-round score of 143. He is followed by Halili in a tie for 33rd with a score of 147 and Brown in a tie for 72nd with a score of 153.

Saint Martin’s Maxwell Turnquist ranks second among individual competitors at the super regional in a tie for 16th with a two-round score of 1-over-par 145. Turnquist finished the second round with a score of 1-over-par 73, two strokes behind individual competitor leader Mauricio Figueroa of Texas A&M International.

The third and final day of the NCAA West/South Central Super Regional is tomorrow with pairing times yet to be announced. At the end of round three, the top three teams and top two individuals not with a team will advance to the Division II Championships at Avalon Lakes in Warren, Ohio on May 22-26.
