Why Did You Choose To Attend Saint Martin’s?: I chose to attend Saint Martin’s because of the campus community and the ability for me to play college golf. Coming from Hawaii, I also liked how many students at SMU were also from Hawaii.

What Is Your Favorite Class You Have Taken And Why?: My favorite class was Sports Marketing because it was interesting and sports marketing is what I want to do after college.

Who Is Your Favorite Professor And What Did You Enjoy About Learning From Him Or Her?: My favorite professor is Dr. Stephen Parker. He has great energy and his classes are always fun, which leads to more student discussion.

Years Involved In SAAC: Two years.

The Reason You Chose To Get Involved In SAAC: I joined SAAC to have an opportunity to have my voice be heard outside of just playing my sport.

Most Memorable SAAC Activity To Date: Working with the Boys & Girls Club and playing dodgeball with the children.

How Do You Feel Participating In SAAC Will Help You In Life After You Graduate?: Participating in SAAC will provide me with leadership skills and teach me how to make an impact.

What Does It Mean To You To Be A Division II Student-Athlete?: Being a Division II student-athlete means a lot. I worked hard to get here and I’m very lucky. It’s a privilege to be here and the competition is strong.

What Is The Most Important Thing You’ve Learned About Balancing Athletics And Academics?: Time management is key.

Biggest Obstacle Overcome During Your Collegiate Career: Getting used to living and playing in a new place. It took time for me to get comfortable and build up my confidence.

Favorite Thing About Competing In The GNAC: I love seeing the places we get to travel to and play in.

Most Memorable Sports-Related Moment: Finishing in the top-10 for the first time last season.

Best Advice You’d Give To An Incoming Freshman: Don’t be afraid to try new things. Join clubs, participate in intramural sports and go to sporting events. Enjoy the experience because college is fun and creates a lot of opportunities.

If You Could Spend The Day With One Person (Past Or Present), Who Would It Be (And Why)?: I would spend the day with Michael Jordan because he’s one of my favorite athletes. I have so much respect for how he played basketball. Talking to him about his mentality would be unreal.

Extracurricular Activities: I am a member of the Hawaii Club and the Kapuso Club.

Future Goals After Graduation: I want to go into the sports marketing business.

Favorite Sports Team: Tennessee Titans.

Favorite Athlete: Derrick Henry.

One Thing People Don’t Know About You Is: I don’t like peanut butter.
