Yellowjackets Finish Second in MSUB Invite

Daniel Thomsett won medalist honors with a 36-hole score of three-over par 147 to lead Rocky Mountain to a five-stroke team victory over Montana State Billings Friday in the MSUB Yellowjacket Spring Invitational at the Pryor Creek Golf Club.

The Bears overcame a two-shot first-round deficit to outscored the Yellowjackets 599-604. MSUB had rounds of 306 and 298.

Marcus Drange and Eric Gravbrot led MSUB with 149 totals, tying for fourth place. Preston Richards also finished in the Top 10, placing ninth with a 151 total.
