LACEY, Wash. – Saint Martin's University teamed up with Capital Mall for the STOMP Out Bullying event on Sat., Aug. 15. Student-athletes Isaac Bianchini, Mikel Smith and Andrew Kier from the Saints Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) club took part of the back-to-school anti-bullying event, handing out information and sharing facts and tips on how to stop bullying with shoppers and their families. The students also took a picture with "Blitz," the Seattle Seahawks' mascot.

"It is exciting for SAVE to be getting out into the community outside of Saint Martin's," said SAVE advisorand Senior Woman Administrator Alice Loebsack. "They are looking forward to more opportunities to show the outside community the positive work they are doing."

Saint Martin's Green Dot program will be at Capital Mall's second STOMP Out Bullying Event on Sat., Aug. 29, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Theater Court Parking Lot, featuring more guest speakers and entertainment. Green Dot is a bystander intervention program seen on many University campuses. They will have a table set up where students and staff will talk about bystander intervention.
