CLEVELAND, OH - The members of the Division II Athletics Directors Association have announced the directors that will serve on the 2013-14 Board of Directors and Simon Fraser University's Senior Director of Athletics and Recreation Milton Richards has been named to the board.

"I am pleased that I have been asked to serve on the NACDA Board of Directors," said Dr. Richards. "This opportunity will allow me to comment on behalf of SFU on all major issues facing NCAA Division II."

Chico State's director of athletics Anita Barker will serve as president of the association.

The board of directors consists of 23 members from NCAA Division II's 254 schools.

The Division II Athletics Directors Association is the first organization of its kind to provide educational and networking opportunities; enhancement of acceptable operating standards and ethics; and establishment of the overall prestige and understanding of the profession of Division II athletics directors.

The association is administered by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics.

Richards became Simon Fraser's athletic director in November of 2011. Since his appointment, Richards has helped Clan Athletics become the first international institution to earn full NCAA membership.

Last year, in the school's first year of eligibility as full members of the NCAA, Richards led the Clan to a 36th place finish out of 254 schools in the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings, measuring the top Division II athletic programs in the NCAA.
