PORTLAND, Ore.  – GNAC Insider will air its 87th episode on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Pacific time. The show featured Central Washington infielder and pitcher Jake Levin and Seattle Pacific distance runner Lynelle Decker.

Levin is a senior for the Central Washington baseball team and a rare pitcher and hitter for the Wildcats. He is one of the best all around players, hitting for a .324 average with three home runs, 11 runs batted in and eight runs scored in 34 at-bats. On the mound, Levin owns a 3-0 record with a 3.66 earned run average and 17 strikeouts in 19.2 innings pitched. He has helped lead Central Washington to first place in the GNAC with a 5-1 record, 9-5 overall. The Wildcats have also received the highest amount of votes from the GNAC in the NCBWA West Region Poll with nine. Levin spoke about which position he prefers playing, the Wildcats strong start and the wild weather across the Northwest in March.

Decker is a senior distance runner for the Seattle Pacific women’s track and field team and is coming off of an impressive trip to the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships last weekend. Decker led SPU to an 11th place finish at nationals after receiving All-American status in three different events. She placed second in the 800 meters, was a part of the women’s 4x400 relay team that placed third and the distance medley relay team that took fifth place. Decker’s 800 meters time of 2:07.52 also set a program record. She heads into outdoor season where she was an All-American in the 800, taking seventh place. Decker spoke about placing second in the 800, setting a Seattle Pacific program record and what she hopes to accomplish in outdoor season.
