PORTLAND, Ore. – Episode 51 of GNAC Insider included Alaska Anchorage women’s basketball coach Ryan McCarthy, Central Washington baseball coach Desi Storey and Simon Fraser track athlete Lindsey Butterworth

McCarthy is in his third year coaching the Seawolves. The former Northwest Nazarene player and assistant coach has the Seawolves as the No. 2 team in the country, while leading the nation in steals and scoring margin. McCarthy talked about his past experiences in the GNAC and about how far his team could go this season.

Storey is in his 24th year as the CWU baseball coach. In 2014, Storey took his team to the GNAC tournament and beat top seeded Western Oregon to claim CWU’s first baseball title while earning his 500th victory in a CWU uniform. This season, the Wildcats were selected to unseat the Wolves again in the 2015 coaches poll. Storey discussed his 2015 squad as well as their upcoming games.
