PORTLAND, Ore. – Featuring interviews with two head coaches and a student athlete, the latest episode of GNAC Insider is now available to download via iTunes and to listen to via the GNAC Stretch Internet portal. 

Victor Santa Cruz, the head football coach at Azusa Pacific University, Chris Green, the head volleyball coach at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and Fredy Razo, a men’s soccer player at Northwest Nazarene each discussed their seasons on Episode 6.

Santa Cruz highlighted some key players and discussed the tight race at the top of the GNAC standings halfway through the schedule. APU has won three of four GNAC games and is currently tied with Central Washington for first place.

Green discussed his squad’s current six-game winning streak and how UAA has developed momentum moving into first place in the GNAC standings. Green also touched on some of his key players, including the immediate success transfer libero Quinn Barker has had transitioning into the program.

Razo, who was named Red Lion Offensive Player of the Week for his two goal and two assist effort last week, provided insight towards his goal-scoring mindset, as well as his supporting cast of teammates. The junior has scored in all eight games that he has played in thus far in 2013.
