GNAC Baseball Championships Information

The 2023 GNAC Baseball Championships will be held Thursday, May 11 and Friday, May 12, at the SMU Baseball Field on the campus of Saint Martin's University in Lacey, Washington.

FORMAT: The top three teams in the conference regular-season standings by win percentage will qualify for the GNAC Championships. The first day of competition will be a round-robin, with all three teams playing each other once.

Following the round-robin, if teams are 2-0, 1-1 and 0-2, the 0-2 team would be eliminated and the other two teams would compete on day two for the championship (1 or 2 games for double elimination).

Following the round-robin, if teams are in a three-way tie at 1-1, the No. 1 seed would get an automatic bid to the championship game. The other two teams would compete on day two in an elimination game. The winner would advance to the championship vs. the No. 1 seed.

The winner of the GNAC Championships receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.

Game 1: No. 2 Seed vs. No. 3 Seed, 10 a.m.
Game 2: No. 1 Seed vs. No. 3 Seed, 1 p.m.
Game 3: No. 1 Seed vs. No. 2 Seed, 4 p.m.

Friday, May 13 (If Three Teams Remain Tied After Day 1)
Game 4: No. 2 Seed vs. No. 3 Seed, Noon
Game 5: No. 1 Seed vs. Winner Game 4, 3 p.m.

Friday, May 13 (If Two Teams Remain After Day 1)
Game 4: 2-0 Team vs. 1-1 Team, Noon
Game 5: Same Teams As Game 4 (If Necessary), 30 Minutes Following Game 4
