Why Did You Choose To Attend Alaska?: I wanted to experience Alaska and was given the opportunity to play college hockey.

What Is Your Favorite Class You Have Taken And Why?: Sports and Recreation Facilities was my favorite class. I liked learning about how plans are put into place and how to execute them.

Who Is Your Favorite Professor And What Did You Enjoy About Learning From Him Or Her?: Derek Hickley. He communicates well and is understanding. He also gives good detail and direction on what he expects from us.

The Reason You Chose To Get Involved In SAAC: I wanted to get more involved and I thought it would look good on my resume.

Most Memorable SAAC Activity To Date: Planning the banquet at the end of the year.

How Do You Feel Participating In SAAC Will Help You In Life After You Graduate?: It will help me to make decisions in a group setting and execute plans well.

What Is The Most Important Thing You’ve Learned About Balancing Athletics And Academics?: Time management is huge. Planning out the week is vital to my success.

Biggest Obstacle Overcome During Your Collegiate Career: Going on long two-week road trips and having to communicate with my professors about what I missed in class. It’s always tough to make up for lost time.

Most Memorable Sports-Related Moment: Winning the Governor’s Cup.

Best Advice You’d Give To An Incoming Freshman: Time management with both school and athletics is important.

If You Could Spend The Day With One Person (Past Or Present), Who Would It Be (And Why)?: I would spend the day with Michael Jordan because he knows how to win at anything he does.

Future Goals After Graduation: I want to be a certified strength and conditioning coach and own a gym.
