WILDER, Idaho - Kyle DeLorey and Trish Gibbens swept medalist honors as both College of Idaho golf teams earned season opening wins over  Northwest Nazarene Thursday at River Bend Golf Course.

DeLorey carded a three-under round of 69 to win the men's title by four strokes over NNU's Thomas Hanceck, as the Yotes recorded a team score of 298 - 11-strokes clear of the Crusaders.

Gibbens recorded a one-over round of 73 to dominate the women's field, grabbing the title by nine strokes over teammate  Baylee Borchers.  The Lady Yotes recorded a team score of 329, 63 shots better than the Crusaders, who were making their collegiate debut as a program.  Haley Gochnour led NNU with a 13-over 85.
