Why Did You Become A Coach: I had a passion for the sport of basketball and enjoyed working with young adults.

Who Has Influenced You The Most As A Coach - Either As An Inspiration, A Mentor, Or Philosophically: A variety of coaches that I have either worked for or had opportunities to be associated with.

Biggest Obstacle Overcome As A Coach: The field of coaching is very competitive and the opportunity to become a head coach for the first time is difficult.

What Does Division II Mean To You: It truly means student-athlete. There is a balance between athletics and academics that is challenging in both areas.

Extracurricular Activities: Tennis and travel.

Best Advice You’d Give To Student-Athletes: Have goals and stay focused on those goals. There will always be challenges and you need to be able to adjust.

If You Could Spend The Day With One Person (Past Or Present), Who Would It Be (And Why): Ralph Miller, Oregon State’s former men’s basketball coach. I have always respected the way his teams played and his approach to coaching.

Favorite Sports Team: Seattle Seahawks

Favorite Athlete: Walt Frazier

Most Memorable Sports-Related Moment: Beating Puget Sound in the basketball playoffs, with a full house in Marcus Pavilion.
