Why did you choose to attend Montana State Billings?: I loved the atmosphere of the Billings and the state itself. The school really helps us out as student-athletes.

What is your favorite class you have taken in college and why?: Intro to Outdoor Adventure Leadership. It pertained to what I love to do and it had an awesome teacher. It also had a great classroom environment.

Who is your favorite professor you've had in college and what did you enjoy about learning from him or her?: Jay Shaw. He taught me a lot about what a good leaders qualities need to be in the field of work.

Years involved in SAAC: One

The reason I chose to get involved in SAAC: To help be a voice for all the college student-athletes in the country.

If I could change one NCAA rule, it would be: The NCAA is pretty fair right now. I am just blessed to have what I have.

What is the most important thing you've learned from balancing the demands of athletics and academics?: Time management.

What does it mean to be a Division II student-athlete?: That your held to the same exact standard as a D1 athlete just in a smaller arena.

Current mentor(s): Jenifer & Brad Alcorn.

Future goals after school: To become a game warden and serve my community.

Biggest obstacle overcame during collegiate career: Getting through the first semester above a 3.0 GPA.

Best advice I’d give to an incoming freshman: Go to class!

If I could spend the day with one person (past or present), who would it be (and why)?: My grandfather, Gary Alcorn. He passed away before I was old enough to have him watch one of my basketball games.

Favorite sports team: Montana State Billings men's basketball

Favorite athlete: Jenifer Alcorn (three-time undefeated world boxing champion)

Most memorable sports-related moment: Signing a full-ride scholarship to play college basketball.
