Part of a regular series.

Throughout the year, GNACsports.com uses this space to profile conference student-athletes who are members of their respective institutions' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). In addition to providing feedback on the student-athlete experience, conference and institutional SAAC members also offer input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes' lives on NCAA member institution campuses. Click here for more information on the function of SAAC at the NCAA level.

Why did you choose to attend Montana State Billings? I chose to attend MSUB because of the opportunity to compete in collegiate level athletics at a place close to home.

What is your favorite class you have taken in college and why? Constitutional Law - Power and Structures. This was my favorite class due to the professor. He was easy to understand and presented difficult concepts to the class in a clear manner.

Who is your favorite professor you've had in college and what did you enjoy about learning from him or her? Dr. (Paul) Pope. I enjoyed his attitude during class, his helpfulness outside of class and his clear presentation of the material.

Years involved in SAAC: Two.

The reason I chose to get involved in SAAC: I got involved in SAAC to have a voice within our athletics program.

Most memorable SAAC activity: Cleaning up the rims.

What is the most important thing you've learned from balancing the demands of athletics and academics? Time management.

What does it mean to be a Division II student-athlete: Being a Division II athlete has given me opportunities to meet so many important and new people as well as teaching me the discipline of hard work, time management and letting me travel.

Future goals after school: I plan to attend law school.

Biggest obstacle overcame during collegiate career: I had mono my sophomore year of outdoor track, which took me out for over a month.

Best advice I’d give to an incoming freshman: Work hard, never forget your goals and, even if no one else wants to, go that extra mile (literally for cross country and track athletes).

If I could spend the day with one person (past or present), who would it be (and why)? I would like to spend one day with my freshman self just to remind myself how far I actually have come in my three years at MSUB.

Favorite athlete: My sister, Nocona Frame.

Most memorable sports-related moment: Watching my sister run her last collegiate race.

One thing that people don't know about me is: I love fuzzy socks.
