Extracurricular activities: Gymnastics and school take up most of my time.

Why did you choose to attend Seattle Pacific? I chose SPU because of the location, the people and the gymnastics team all seemed like the right fit.

What is your favorite class you have taken in college and why? La France et le Monde. In this class we learned about immigration in France and I enjoyed learning more about that culture.

Who is your favorite professor you've had in college and what did you enjoy about learning from him or her? Michelle Beauclair is one of my French professors and I've loved learning about the French language and culture.

Years involved in SAAC: Two. 

The reason I chose to get involved in SAAC: It was an opportunity to represent my team and my school and to hopefully help in making positive changes.

What is the most important thing you've learned from balancing the demands of athletics and academics? Plan ahead and stay organized.

What does it mean to be a Division II student-athlete: We do our sport because we love it. It's not for recognition, but to be a part of an amazing team and continue doing what we love.

Biggest obstacle overcame during collegiate career: Injury. I broke my foot sophomore year and had to work back to be able to compete at the end of the season.

Best advice I’d give to an incoming freshman: Enjoy each day, because it goes way too fast.

Favorite sports team: Denver Broncos.

Favorite athlete: Novak Djokovic.

Most memorable sports-related moment: Our team placing third at nationals in 2014 and 2015.
