PORTLAND, Ore. – Great Northwest Athletic Conference men’s and women’s basketball returns to the leading regional sports television network in the area during the 2014-15 season, with a 10-game package airing December through February on ROOT SPORTS, Commissioner Dave Haglund announced.

The series begins on the opening weekend of conference play in early December and will conclude on the final day of the regular season Feb. 28. The package features five men's and five women's games.

The 2014-15 campaign marks the sixth consecutive season in which the GNAC will have a presence on the premier regional sports network in the Pacific Northwest, and the second consecutive year in which the conference has featured a “Game of the Week” series.

ROOT SPORTS is carried in more than 3.4 million homes in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska – all states in which the GNAC has member institutions.

In addition to being carried live on ROOT SPORTS, the GNAC basketball series is also available on DirecTV (channel 687) and the Dish Network (channel 426).

“The GNAC has long been considered one of the premier NCAA Division II conferences for men’s and women’s basketball, and we’re extremely pleased we are able to showcase our outstanding conference teams on ROOT SPORTS once again,” said Haglund.

Brad Adam and Bob Akamian are expected to share play-by-play duties, with Dave Harshman providing analysis.
