PORTLAND, Ore. – The second episode of GNAC Insider, the show updating you about everything that is going on with the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, is now available as a podcast through iTunes and the GNAC.TV on-demand portal.

Guests on the conference's weekly radio show included Julie Hulbert, senior middle blocker on the Central Washington volleyball team; Doug English, head volleyball coach at Northwest Nazarene; and Travis Connell, head women’s soccer coach at Western Washington.

Hulbert and the Central Washington volleyball team just got back from the GNAC/PacWest Crossover tournament where they went 3-1. During the tournament, Hulbert recorded 16 kills and 24.5 points.

English and the Crusader volleyball team also participated in the GNAC/PacWest Crossover where they went 4-0 and earned GNAC Team of the Week honors. Northwest Nazarene is 7-1 this season going into its conference opener against Central Washington, also 7-1, on Thursday.

Connell is in his 12th year as Western Washington’s women’s soccer coach. Last year Connell lead his team to its best season ever with an NCAA Final Four appearance and a 20-2-1 record. This year his team hasn’t allowed a goal on its way to a 4-0 start.

GNAC Insider airs live at 7 p.m. Pacific time every Tuesday and is produced by the conference office. All episodes become available as free podcasts via iTunes, and for archived listening via GNAC.TV.
