THIS WEEK'S GNAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSE
Zoe Milburn, Western Washington
F • 5-7 • Junior • Maple Valley, Wash.

Milburn became the second player this season and in GNAC history to score four goals in a match, scoring two in each half of the Vikings’ 8-0 rout of Montana State Billings on Saturday. The four goals also set a record for goals in a conference match, surpassing the three set on 35 different occasions.

DEFENSE
Alex Qualls, Western Oregon

Qualls registered her second shutout of the season, making four saves on 10 total shots as Western Oregon topped Seattle Pacific, 2-0, on Saturday. It was the Wolves’ first win over the Falcons since 2002.

AROUND THE GNAC
CENTRAL WASHINGTON
• Central Washington split last week’s matches, losing at Western Washington, 2-0, on Thursday then bouncing back to drop Saint Martin’s, 2-0, at home.

Madison Bradley opened the scoring for the Wildcats against Saint Martin’s with a goal in the 29th minute. Peyton Vogel notched the insurance goal in the 81st minute.

• The Wildcats limited the Saints to just two total shots in the 2-0 victory.

• Goalkeeper Emily Thomson made nine saves in the two matches. Thomson is fifth in the GNAC with a 1.21 goals against average.

• Central Washington is now 4-4-0 (2-1-0 GNAC) on the season. Up next, the Wildcats will head to Concordia on Saturday.

CONCORDIA
• Concordia dropped its only match of the week with a 3-0 loss at Seattle Pacific on Thursday.

• The Cavs recorded eight shots and one shot on goal, but could not find the net.

Hailey Asato played the first 61 minutes at goalkeeper then was replaced by Isabelle Davis. Asato made two saves in the match.

Kyra Radcliffe is still tied for third in the GNAC with four goals. She also ranks tied for sixth with eight points.

Madison Grande is tied for third in the conference with three assists.

• Concordia is now 2-6-0 (0-2-0 GNAC) on the season. Up next, the Cavs will head to Monmouth to play Western Oregon on Thursday then will return home to host Central Washington on Saturday.

MONTANA STATE BILLINGS
• Montana State Billings lost both of its matches on the road last week. The Yellowjackets dropped a 4-0 match at Northwest Nazarene on Thursday then lost 8-0 at Western Washington on Saturday.

• Montana State Billings put up 16 shots and nine shots on goal on the week but were unable to score.

• Goalkeeper Erinn Harder made nine saves in the two losses. Harder is sixth in the GNAC with 22 saves. She also leads the conference with three shutouts.

• Montana State Billings is now 3-4-2 (2-2-0 GNAC) on the season. Up next, the Yellowjackets will host Northwest Nazarene on Saturday.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE
• Northwest Nazarene picked up two wins last week with a 4-0 rout of Montana State Billings on Thursday and a 1-0 win over Simon Fraser on Saturday.

Ashley Parton opened the scoring for NNU in the win over Montana State Billings with a goal in the 10th minute. Rikki Myers netted another goal just 18 seconds later.

• Myers tops the GNAC and ranks 22nd in Division II with eight goals. She also ranks 31st in Division II with 17 points.

Makayla Roggow and Jenna Turner scored two more insurance goals late in the match to run away with the 4-0 win.

Jade Zimmer scored the only goal of the match in the 1-0 win over Simon Fraser.

• Goalkeeper Alexis Montoya made seven saves on seven shots on goal by the Yellowjackets. She made another five saves on five shots on goal by the Clan. Montoya is second in the conference and 35th in Division II with 54 total saves.

• Northwest Nazarene is now 5-4-1 (2-1-1 GNAC) on the season. Up next, the Nighthawks will head to Montana State Billings on Saturday.

SAINT MARTIN'S
• Saint Martin’s dropped both of its matches last week. The Saints lost 2-0 at Simon Fraser on Thursday then lost 2-0 again at Central Washington on Saturday.

• The Saints put five shots on goal in the two matches but were unable to score.

• Saint Martin’s is third in the GNAC with 52 total saves. Ali Campigotto ranks third in the conference with 26 saves.

• Saint Martin’s is now 2-6-2 (0-3-0 GNAC) on the season. Up next, the Saints will stay home to host Western Washington on Thursday.

SEATTLE PACIFIC
• Seattle Pacific split last week’s matches, dropping Concordia at home, 3-0, on Thursday then losing to Western Oregon, 2-0, in Monmouth on Saturday.

Mariah Alexander contributed to all three SPU goals in the Falcons’ 3-0 win over Concordia. Alexander scored the second goal of the match in the 54th minute and was credited with the assists on the first and third goals.

Chloe Gellhaus and Sierra Smith notched the first and third goals against Concordia, respectively.

• Seattle Pacific allowed Concordia just one shot on goal.

• The Falcons rank second in the GNAC with 142 total shots and are also second in the conference with four shutouts.

• Goalkeeper Kaylie Nelson ranks second in the conference with a 0.76 goals against average.

• Seattle Pacific dropped one spot to No. 10 in the latest United Soccer Coaches West Region Poll.

• Seattle Pacific is now 5-5-0 (3-1-0 GNAC) on the season and is tied with Western Washington at the top of the conference standings with nine points.

• Up next, the Falcons will host Simon Fraser on Saturday.

SIMON FRASER
• Simon Fraser picked up its first conference win with a 2-0 victory at home over Saint Martin’s on Thursday. The Clan followed that with a 1-0 loss at Northwest Nazarene on Saturday.

Giuliana Zaurrini scored both goals for the Clan in the 2-0 win over Saint Martin’s, notching the first goal in the fifth minute and the second goal in the 68th minute. She is now tied for sixth in the conference with three goals.

Nicole Anderson made four saves on four shots on goal by the Saints. She followed that with a nine-save performance in the loss at NNU. Anderson leads the GNAC and ranks 21st in Division II with 61 saves on the season.

• Simon Fraser is now 1-6-1 (1-3-0 GNAC) on the season. Up next, the Clan will head to Seattle Pacific on Saturday.

WESTERN OREGON
• Western Oregon won its only match of the week with a 2-0 shutout of a hot Seattle Pacific team. It was the Wolves’ first win over the Falcons since 2002.

Alyssa Tomasini scored the first goal of the match in the 51st minute off an assist from Isabelle Creighton. Creighton netted the second goal just two minutes later off an assist from Tomasini.

• Creighton is tied for first in the conference with 30 shots. Tomasini ranks second with five goals.

Alex Qualls was named the GNAC Defensive Player of the Week after she registered her second shutout of the season, making four saves on 10 shots by the Falcons.

• Western Oregon is second in the GNAC and ranks 39th in Division II with 15 assists. The Wolves are also second in the conference with a 0.89 goals against average.

• Western Oregon is now 4-3-2 (1-1-1 GNAC) on the season. Up next, the Wolves will stay home to host Concordia on Thursday and Western Washington on Saturday.

WESTERN WASHINGTON
• Western Washington is coming off of a stellar week of conference play at home, dropping in-state rival Central Washington, 2-0, on Thursday then dominating Montana State Billings, 8-0, on Saturday.

Karli White and Liv Larson scored the two goals for the Vikings in the win over Central Washington.

• Western Washington had 32 shots and 12 shots on goal against Central Washington. The Vikings allowed the Wildcats just one total shot in the match.
