KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Western Washington senior Brianna Jones and Seattle Pacific midfielder Isabel Farrell have been named All-Americans on the 2014 NSCAA and Daktronics women’s soccer teams.

Jones was picked to the NSCAA and Daktronics third team while Farrell was selected a second team honoree by the NSCAA and honorable mention on the Daktronics team.

Jones scored three goals, two of which were game winners, and recorded two assists in her last year of eligibility. She finishes her career with 10 goals, three game winners, six assists, and over 6,500 minutes played in starting 78 of 85 possible matches.

Her biggest contributions to the Vikings were keeping opponents off the scoreboard. The Vikings ranked in the top five nationally in goals-against average and allowed only seven goals in 2014. Over her four years, Jones won three GNAC regular season titles and was part of 55 shutouts having only 37 opponents’ goals reach the net.

In Farrell’s first year of action in the GNAC, she recorded eight goals and seven assists which both tied for second in the conference.

Farrell was the GNAC Player of the Year and earned the conference championship MVP after scoring the winning goal in the semifinals. Seattle Pacific won its second GNAC championship in as many years and advanced to its 12th consecutive NCAA tournament.

This is the second year in a row that Jones has made a Daktronics All-American team, earning second team honors in 2013, while this is Farrell’s first selection.

Jones, a 2014 first team GNAC, NSCAA and Daktronics West Region player, was also selected to the 2014 BennettRank NCAA All-American second team.
