AMARILLO, Texas – It was a successful trip south for Simon Fraser's Kylie Jack and Jaya Rampuri, who are both national championships bound after finishing in the top-11 individually at the NCAA Division II West Super Regional at Amarillo Country Club.

The Clan closed the tournament with a team score of 910, finishing 58-over-par. That left them in sixth place, just two outside the magical top-four that would have advanced the whole team to nationals.

The super regional consisted of three rounds played over three days on the 6,436-yard, par-71 course. Jack rode an ultra-consistent round comprising 14 pars to finish at 8-over-par for the event. That allowed the senior to finish in a tie for eighth on the individual leaderboard.

Rampuri had one of the best third rounds in the entire field, firing a 73 to end the tournament just behind her top teammate at 9-over-par. Tying for 11th, the junior made six birdies on the week.

Dallas Baptist finished on top of the team leaderboard with a total score of 34-over-par. The Patriots, along with West Texas A&M, Cal State San Marcos and Oklahoma Christian were the four teams to advance to the national championships. That tournament will be contested May 14-18 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

After receiving selection as an individual for the NCAA Division II West Super Regional, Concordia senior Shantel Antonio finished in a tie for 19th place. Antonio saved her best for last in Amarillo, carding a final-round 72 after opening with scores of 77 and 78.

The senior was one of six golfers competing as an individual amongst the 66 total competitors. She finished her final round with 13 consecutive pars to end the tournament inside the top-20. Antonio entered the day ranked third in the GNAC in scoring average.

Clan sophomore Estee Leung finished tied for 15th at 12-over-par. The GNAC's representation was rounded out by Concordia's Cammie Decker (T-29) and Simon Fraser's Belinda Lin (T-53) and Laura Jones (T-64).
