COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho – For the third consecutive year Western Washington earned the Great Northwest Athletic Conference women’s golf title, posting a two-round team score of 641 (319-322) at the par-71, 5,914-yard Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course Monday and Tuesday.

The Vikings were led by the top-three finishing individuals at the tournament, including GNAC medalist Anna Bourland who finished with a 14-over 156 (78-78). Brooke Branigan finished three strokes behind Bourland at 159 (80-79), and Kristen Hansen took third with a score of 160 (79-81). 

Also in the top-10 for WWU was Audrey Orem, who tied for ninth place with a score of 166 (82-84).

Finishing in second place was Montana State Billings with a team score of 665 (327-338). MSUB’s Capri Ingram finished in fourth place with a score of 162 (82-80), and BreAnna Cameron checked in tied for seventh at 165 (83-82). 

A pair of Saint Martin’s golfers – Jennifer Liedes and Mandy Wittmier – tied for fifth place, each shooting two-round totals of 163. As a team, the Saints finished in third place with a score of 674 (332-342).

Simon Fraser posted a team score of 678 (341-337) to finish in fourth place, as Erin Farner shot a 165 (79-86) and Nicky Jordan shot a 166 (87-79) to finish in seventh and ninth place, respectively.

Led by freshman Sam Miller’s ninth-place 166 (82-84), Northwest Nazarene finished in fifth place with a team score of 700 (347-353).
