PORTLAND, Ore. – Twenty-one players – 11 women and 10 men - have been selected to the 2014-15 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Academic all-conference golf team. 

Two players – Justin McAfee of Northwest Nazarene and Anna Bourland of Western Washington - were named to the team for the third year in a row.

Six other players – Houston Bradbury and Carlan Campbell of Montana State Billings, NNU’s Connor Magnuson, Gracie Dyer and Sarah Salvatori of Saint Martin’s and Mackenzie Field of Simon Fraser – were also repeat selections.

Saint Martin’s placed seven players on the academic team.  Northwest Nazarene and Montana State Billings had five and four, respectively.

The golfers with the best GPAs are McAfee of NNU, Field of SFU and Jennifer Liedes of Saint Martin’s.

McAfee has a 3.86 GPA to lead the men.  Field has a 4.04 GPA in the Canadian system which awards 4.33 points for an A+.  Liedes leads the women in the American system with a 3.79 GPA.
