In our latest edition of Best of GNAC Insider, host Robert Lowery talks with Northwest Nazarene senior women's basketball player Avery Albrecht. Named the GNAC Women's Basketball Player of the Year, Albrecht led the Nighthawks to the GNAC Championships for the fifth consecutive season and a berth in the NCAA West Regional.

Recorded on February 4, Albrecht talks about her path to becoming a 1,000-point scorer for the Nighthawks, the winning culture that has developed at NNU under head coach Steve Steele, her major of international business marketing and the competitive rivalry that has developed between NNU and Alaska Anchorage.
