LACEY, Wash. – Semifinal action at the GNAC Basketball Championships begins on Friday with the top two seeds on both sides getting their GNAC title pursuits under way in the penultimate round.

Play begins with No. 2 Western Washington women's basketball playing at noon against No. 6 Central Washington, which just won its first GNAC tournament game in program history. No. 1 Alaska Anchorage will put its 23-game winning streak on the line against No. 5 Seattle Pacific at 2:15 p.m. In the evening session, No. 2 Alaska Anchorage men's basketball gets its title bid started against defending champion No. 3 Western Oregon at 5:15 p.m. Then at 7:30 p.m., host Saint Martin's will play conference champion Western Washington.

Tickets for each session will be sold at the door. General admission is $11 for each session and the tournament pass is $42. The reserved session pass is $16 and the reserved tournament pass is $56. For students, seniors or youth, a session pass is $7 and a tournament pass is $22. Entry for any child two years old or younger is free.
