PORTLAND, Ore. - Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's basketball teams are idle for the next 10 days as they take a break for the holidays.

After Christmas there are a few non-conference games remaining on the schedule before conference play resumes on Thursday, Jan. 3.

Next Saturday (Dec. 29), Montana State Billings plays an exhibition game at Montana State, Saint Martin's hosts Puget Sound, Simon Fraser entertains Trinity Western and Western Oregon hosts Northwest Christian.

The non-conference portion of the schedule then concludes Monday (Dec. 31) when Dixie State visits Seattle Pacific.

GNAC teams have played at a .688 clip (55-25) during the non-conference portion of their schedule.  That includes 10 wins in 12 contests earlier this week.

Alaska Anchorage swept three games to win the AT&T Classic at Anchorage.  Alaska Fairbanks, meanwhile, defeated Dallas Christian twice to earn its first two victories of the season.

Western Washington won a pair of games in Las Vegas in earning GNAC Team of the Week honors.  Montana State Billings and Seattle Pacific each won home games, while Central Washington split a pair of home games with Hawaii Hilo.  Meanwhile, Western Oregon closed out its pre-Christmas schedule with a loss.
