LACEY, Wash. – Saint Martin's Athletic Director Bob Grisham announced Jon Killingbeck has resigned as the head volleyball coach on Monday, and a national search for the Saints' next head coach has begun.

"We will move forward, and begin an immediate national search with our goal in having the new coach in place by the beginning of the non-championship season in February," said Grisham.

Killingbeck was named the head coach in March 2016 and coached the Saints to a 20-87 record over four seasons, finishing with a 1-28 mark in 2019. In 2017, the Saints set a school record for most wins in a single season with nine since joining the NCAA in 1998. During his tenure, Killingbeck had four All-Conference players, 29 All-Academic selections, and the 2018 GNAC Team All-Academic award.

"We appreciate the work and effort that Jon and his staff contributed to the program," stated Grisham. "Jon and his staff have always worked with our student-athlete's best interest in mind."
