NEW ORLEANS – A quartet of awards for GNAC distance standouts David Ribich of Western Oregon and Caroline Kurgat of Alaska Anchorage lead a total of 82 selections from the conference to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s (USTFCCCA) Division II Indoor Track and Field All-West Region Teams.

Both athletes were recognized for their performances in four different events. The all-region honors are bestowed upon the top-five individuals in each event in the region and members of the top three relay teams.

Ribich, the GNAC champion in the mile and 3,000 meters, was honored in that event along with the 800 meters and as a member of the Wolves’ GNAC record and Division II-leading distance medley relay team.

Kurgat, the GNAC champion in both the mile and the 5,000 meters, earned honors in those events as well as the 3,000 meters and for her work on the Seawolves’s distance medley relay team.
