PORTLAND, Ore. - A total of 27 student-athletes have been named to the 2015 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Softball Academic all-conference team.
Heading up the softball academic team are Shelby Yasuda of Central Washington and Jackie Schmaeling of Saint Martin’s with 3.78 GPAs.
Fifteen of the all-academic players are repeat selections including seven – Mary Grace Bywater, Aubrey Conceicao and Emily Osborn, all of Montana State Billings; Kendra Day of Northwest Nazarene; Taviah Jenkins and Dani Wall, both of Saint Martin’s; and Amanda Evola of Western Oregon - who were selected for the third time.
Central Washington led the selections placing seven players on the academic all-conference team. Montana State Billings had six and Saint Martin’s had five academic all-conference players. Northwest Nazarene netted four.
