CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Simon Fraser women's golfer Jaya Rampuri was named a WGCA Honorable Mention All-American on Monday, completing a standout season for the junior.

Rampuri's most recent recognition comes on the heels of receiving First Team All-GNAC honors for a second straight season.

The 2019 WGCA All-America honorees for Division II were announced by the WGCA following the NCAA Division II Championships, where Rampuri competed as an individual and finished in a tie for seventh.

Rampuri finished the year with two top-five performances and ranked second in the conference with a 76.8 scoring average.

Her five top-10 finishes tied for the most on the Clan, the most impressive of which coming against the top players in all of Division II at last week's national championships. It was a strong postseason from start to finish for Rampuri, whose scores of 77 and 73 helped her lead SFU to a GNAC Championships title last month in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

She followed up a third-place finish at the conference championships with an 11th place showing at the NCAA Division II West Super Regional. The junior's score of 9-over-par across the three-round tournament earned her a trip to the PGA National Champion Course for the NCAA Division II Championships.
