AROUND THE GNAC
CONCORDIA
• The Cavaliers put a lid on the month of February with a fourth-place finish at the Mikuni Sushi Shootout.

• Concordia put together a two-day total of 619 to finish 12 strokes clear of fifth place. The performance came on the heels of a solid sixth-place showing at the PLNU Sea Lion Invitational earlier in the month.

• Sophomore Staesha Flock topped CU at the Shootout, shooting a 6-over-par 150 over the two days. Included in that score was an even-par 72 to cap the tournament, which was her team's lowest individual round at the event.

• It's Keizer, Oregon native Cammie Decker who leads Concordia in scoring average at 76.1. That mark has the junior on top of the conference as the spring season starts to warm up.

• The Cavaliers will be back in action next week, taking to Alameda, Calif. for the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout on March 4-5.

WESTERN WASHINGTON
• Western Washington played just once in February, placing ninth at the weather-shortened PLNU Sea Lion Invitational.

• Sophomore Megan Billeter led the Vikings, carding an 8-over round of 80 to finish tied for 20th. Junior Brianna Esvelt was one stroke back of her teammate and finished in a tie for 24th.

• The team has been paced by junior Lacy Sheldon throughout the 2018-19 campaign. Sheldon's 76.33 scoring average leads WWU and ranks second in the league.

• Up next for WWU is the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout at Corica Park in Alameda, Calif. The tournament will run from March 4-5.
