PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - The 2018-19 GNAC golf season came to a close on Thursday at the Division II Women's Championships as Simon Fraser junior Jaya Rampuri capped a stellar season with a fantastic finish in the final round. 

Rampuri finished the day with a score of 1-over par 74 to tie for seventh place at the PGA National Champion Course. Teammate Kylie Jack also finished her tournament on Thursday, carding her third consecutive round of 82 to finish tied for 57th.

The individual competition at the NCAA Championships consisted of three rounds played over three days on the 6,081-yard, par-73 course.

After making bogies on two of her first four holes, Rampuri was able to move inside the top-10 as she played the next 11 holes in 2-under par. She then birdied No. 18, her second birdie there for the tournament, to move into a tie for seventh with a total score of 7-over par.

Among the unattached individuals that qualified for the event, Rampuri finished second behind Academy of Art's Anahi Servin (T-4, 4-over par).

Matching her first two scores of 82 in Palm Beach Gardens, Jack's day was highlighted by a birdie on her fourth hole of the day. She finished the championship at 27-over par, moving into a tie for 57th on the final leaderboard. Thursday marked the final round of Jack's collegiate career in Burnaby.

The individual title was won by Jaime Jacob of Cal State San Marcos. Jacob carded a final-round total of 75, finishing at even-par for the tournament and one stroke ahead of Southwest Oklahoma State's Gloria Choi.
