The two goals were Mangeac's 24th and 25th of his career moving him into eighth place on the GNAC all-time career list in points with 68.

DiNicolo Holian

Week of Sept. 5-11: Anthony DiNicolo, Simon Fraser (D, 5-10, Sr., Maple Ridge, BC – Archbishop Carney) and Garion Holian, Montana State Billings (F, 5-11, 150, Sr., Missoula, MT – Hellgate). . .DiNicolo led the Clan defense that keyed SFU's 1-0 win against nationally ninth-ranked Grand Canyon. "Anthony was fantastic for us at the back,” SFU coach Alan Koch said. “He helped settle our back four in the final thirty minutes against Grand Canyon and helped preserve a big victory. He has grown into a silent leader and has started off his senior year full of confidence.". . .Holian led MSUB to two wins scoring a school-record four goals in a 4-2 win over Colorado Christian and also earning an assist in a 2-1 victory over the University of Mary. Holian's goal total equals the second-highest single-game total in conference history. He joins Samir Vejo of Western Washington, Bobby McAllister of Seattle University and Xan Nixon of Saint Martin's as the only players in GNAC history to score four or more goals in a single game. Vejo had a GNAC-record six against Colorado Christian and four against Northwest Nazarene in 2008. McAllister had four against Cal State Bakersfield in 2002 and Nixon had four against NNU in 2008.

Week of Sept. 12-18: Dylan Gaydosh, Saint Martin's (F, 6-1, So., Federal Way, WA – Stadium) earned an assist on the Saints' overtime goal in a 2-1 win over Montana State Billings and had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 overtime win over Northwest Nazarene. “He had a great week statistically and he also had a great week of working off the ball,” SMU coach Rob Walker said. “He produces on the score sheet but he also does the small things as well.”

Week of Sept. 19-25: Tyler Schultz, Seattle Pacific (M, 5-11, Sr., Scottsdale, AZ – Pinnacle) scored four of the Falcons' 10 goals in wins against Mary and Sioux Falls. He also assisted on a fifth goal increasing his career point total to 63. He needs just one more point to move into 10th place on the GNAC all-time career point list. He already ranks seventh in career goals with 28.

Week of Sept. 26-Oct. 2: Carlo Basso, Simon Fraser (F, 6-4, So., Coquitlam, BC – Archbishop Carney) scored three goals including the game-winner in a 5-0 shutout at Saint Martin's and the first two goals in a 4-3 home victory against Seattle Pacific. “Carlo was fantastic,” SFU coach Alan Koch said. “He scored a very composed goal to get us going at Saint Martin's and helped settle us down with a rocket against Seattle Pacific. He works tirelessly for the team and is fully deserving of the three goals he scored this week.”

Last week, SPU allowed just 10 shots in a scoreless draw with Montana State Billings and a 2-0 win at Northwest Nazarene. Spearman had an assist on SPU's second goal in the latter contest. “Jon has developed into the leader of our back line and does a great job of keeping us organized,” SPU coach Mark Collings said.  “He's done a tremendous job of winning balls in the box and his distribution this past week was very good.  Furthermore his assist at NNU was a much needed boost for our attack.”

On Saturday, he was back to his usual defensive best against Saint Martin's. He was been an incredibly consistent performer all season long and has been a big part of us winning the conference championship again this season."
