MSUB SPORTS – First stepping onto Yellowjacket Field more than eight months ago, six-year-old Sebastien Easton has come a long way since becoming acquainted with the Montana State University Billings men's soccer team.

The Billings native is in the process of battling cancer, and through the Team IMPACT program has been partnered up with the Yellowjackets and joined the team wearing No. 13. On Saturday, the MSUB men kicked off their "Be Brave and Shave" fundraiser, by shaving their heads to support Sebastien as he works through chemotherapy treatments.

"Battling cancer has been a long process for Sebastien and his family, and it is not just about the psychological support for him," MSUB men's soccer coach Alex Balog said regarding his team's fundraising effort. "We just want to show Sebastien that we are absolutely with him. Ever since he joined our team we have been there to support him every step of the way. He has been there to support us as well, as it has helped us put things into perspective."

After shaving their heads in the morning, Sebastien joined the Yellowjacket men during their warmup before their first spring exhibition game against Rocky Mountain College Saturday afternoon. Easton walked out with the team prior to the game, and saluted the flag in the lineup during the playing of the national anthem.

"It has always been great to have Sebastien and his family around ever since he became a part of our roster," said sophomore captain Rhys Lambert. "We take such inspiration from him and his courage. For us to make such a small sacrifice and shave our heads gave him courage to take off his beany this morning and come hang out with us."
